Jared Abramowitz was like most people when he saw the pregame ceremonies for charities such as the Garden of Dreams or the lavender warmup jerseys his favorite team, the Rangers, and others have worn for Hockey Fights Cancer.
“I went to a lot of games, the Garden of Dreams, and then with the Hockey Fights Cancer, it was a nice thing, but it was another thing. Like, ‘OK, drop the puck, let’s go,’” Abramowitz told The Post over the phone this week. “Now, when I watch it, I’m like, ‘Stop, be quiet, acknowledge these people.’ This is like a real fight, real people.
