Brian Boucher's entire playing career overlapped with Martin Brodeur's tenure with the Devils. That didn't stop the former NHL goalie from appreciating an opponent from afar.
Boucher, who played 13 seasons for the Flyers and six other teams, made Brodeur appointment viewing when he had the chance.
"If I wasn't playing that particular night and the New Jersey Devils were on, I wanted to watch him play, just because I enjoyed watching him play," Boucher told NJ Advance Media. "I watched him poke check guys, I loved watching him play the puck.
