Ex-Flyers star Eric Lindros headlines Hockey Hall of Fame Class of 2016

Former Flyers star Eric Lindros was elected to the Hockey Hall of Fame Monday, joining three others in the Class of 2016.

Lindros was elected with fellow players Sergei Makarov and Rogie Vachon, plus former coach Pat Quinn.

Lindros played a total of 13 NHL seasons, including eight with the Flyers. During his time in Philadelphia, he finished with 659 points in 486 games, and he became a dominating force in the early part of his career. He won the Hart Trophy in 1995, and he fueled the team's Stanley Cup Finals run in 1997, where the team lost to the Detroit Red Wings.
