This coming season New Jersey Devils broadcasts on MSG will have a new face. Erika Wachter, formerly of Fox 5 New York, has been hired to take the reigns from the departed Deb Placey, who has taken a job with the NHL.
Wachter is a New Jersey native and will host all pre-game, intermission and post-game coverage alongside Bryce Salvador, heading into his second season with MSG. The commentary booth remains the same with Steve Cangialosi and “Mr Devil” Ken Daneyko, their eighth and fifth seasons respectively, calling the action on the ice.
