When DREAM was originally founded as Harlem RBI, it did so with baseball in mind. The Devils help add some hockey to the mix on Tuesday.
The Devils, along with Prudential Center and the Harris Family Charitable Foundation, partnered with DREAM for a day of service and celebration at B.R.I.C.K Peshine Academy in Newark, where more than 70 kids participated in sports and other activities.
The Harris Foundation, led by Devils owner Josh Harris and his wife, Marjorie, has worked with the Devils to form DREAM Newark, and Tuesday's event was meant to recognize the progress made through its afternoon and summer programs across the city.
