The Devils started their four game road trip with three losses in a row and managed to snap that streak on their first game of the roadie, against former Devils captain Zach Parise and his current team, the Minnesota Wild.
I’ll be honest, the first two periods of this game were pretty boring.
Highlights from the first period included the Devils going on the powerplay, which then became a 5-on-3. No goals were scored and at the end of the period, the Devils led in shots, 7-3.
The second period picked up the pace quite a bit.
