The Devils signed 26-year-old left wing Luke Gazdic to a one-year contract, the team announced Tuesday.
The deal is a two-way contract for $700K at the NHL level. Gazdic was originally a sixth-round pick for the Dallas Stars in the 2007 NHL Draft, and he has spent the majority of his professional career in the OHL and AHL.
Gazdic was a member of the Edmonton Oilers organization the past three seasons, spending time in the NHL and AHL. In 136 NHL games, Gazdic has five goals and three assists.
