WASHINGTON -- The Devils didn't leave their offense on Prince Edward Island.
After they erupted for eight goals in a win over the Senators in Canada on Monday, the Devils' offense continued its hot streak with four goals in the first period on Wednesday against the Washington Capitals.
Getting it started was a familiar face to the scoresheet this preseason. Nico Hischier, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2017 NHL Draft, scored his fourth goal in as many preseason games with a wrister from the right circle on a power play at 2:21
