NEWARK - Just over one week ago, PA Parenteau found himself waived by the New York Islanders. He quickly found a new home when the Devils claimed him two days before the start of the season, and he was in the lineup on opening night.
Parenteau's first week in New Jersey was a hectic one, and he knows what he's trying to prove.
"(Coach John Hynes) has been really good to me, telling me what he's expecting of me, and I know I'm going to get a chance if play well here," Parenteau said.
