Devils name Joe Lorincz Strength/Conditioning Coach

Newark, NJ – The New Jersey Devils today named Joe Lorincz as the team’s strength/conditioning coach. The announcement was made by Devils’ Executive Vice President/General Manager Ray Shero.

Lorincz, 32, joins the Devils with more than 11 years of experience in strength and conditioning, including the past six seasons with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (AHL). His responsibilities with the Penguins included the implementation of off-ice workouts, nutritional counseling and reconditioning of injured players. Lorincz’s professional hockey experience also includes off-ice training for the Anaheim Ducks prospect conditioning camp over consecutive summers, 2007-08. He served as a graduate assistant at Springfield College (MA) from 2008-09, working with the school’s volleyball and lacrosse programs.
