Devils make critical cuts, putting camp roster at 30 players | Which prospects are left?

The Devils have are closer to setting the team's opening-night roster.

The training camp roster was trimmed to 29 players on Tuesday, pushing the Devils toward the 23-man group that will be on the team at the start of the regular season on Oct. 6. The training camp roster still has 15 forwards, 10 defensemen and four goalies.

As a part of the cuts, the Devils sent forwards Michael McLeod, Joey Anderson and Marian Studenic to Binghamton in the AHL.

Forward Nick Lappin was also placed on waivers on Tuesday. If he clears at noon on Wednesday, the Devils can also send him to Binghamton.
