NEWARK — Devils' winger Jordin Tootoo says Christmas isn't very different back home in Nunavut, the largest and least populous territory in Canada.
Sure, you can probably see the North Pole from your window, but Tootoo says most people wouldn't feel out of place celebrating Christmas way up north in Rankin Inlet, where he grew up.
"It's pretty traditional. It's pretty much like everyone else's Christmas, other than 10 feet of snow and minus-50 (Celsius)," Tootoo said with a smile. "But that doesn't stop the festivities that go on within the community.
