The Devils practiced at Prudential Center in Newark on Tuesday for the first time since returning from their 10-day trip in Switzerland and Sweden. One injured Devil was present again, while another was not.
Forward Jesper Bratt did not practice Tuesday after suffering a broken jaw on Thursday, Oct. 4, at the end of a practice in Sweden, when a puck deflected off a crossbar and hit him. Bratt's injury didn't require surgery and needed two or three weeks to heal.
Bratt isn't skating on his own just yet, but he is working out at the Devils' facility.
