Devils goalie Martin Brodeur inducted into Hockey Hall of Fame

Before getting to a long list of thanks and appreciation in his Hockey Hall of Fame induction speech, Martin Brodeur brought up two stories that helped him stay on the path to becoming an NHL goalie, with both events happening well before he was drafted by the Devils.

First, when Brodeur was seven years old, he played on two different hockey teams, playing two different positions. He skated as a forward on one, and a dressed a goalie on the other. He had to make a choice about his position the next season.
