Devils forward Michael McLeod underwent arthroscopic surgery on his left knee on Thursday to repair a torn meniscus.
The 19-year-old will be out four to six weeks.
McLeod suffered the injury during a preseason game on Sept. 25 against the New York Islanders, when he left the game during the first period.

McLeod skated on his own and in small groups while attempting to rehab without surgery, but he had not participated in a full practice since the injury.
The recovery timeline puts the Devils' 2016 first-round pick on track for mid-to-late November return.
