Erika Wachter will be the new host for New Jersey Devils games on MSG+, The Post has learned.
Wachter is leaving Fox 5, where she has spent the past two years a sports reporter and host. Wachter, a New Jersey native, replaces Deb Placey. Placey left for a job with the NHL.
Wachter played field hockey at Syracuse. Before joining Fox 5, she had stops at NESN, the Red Sox’s network, as well as with CPTV in Connecticut. She was also a sports reporter for the University of Connecticut.
Joining Wachter on the pre/half/postgame shows will be the returning Bryce Salvador.
