NEWARK - The Devils are playing relatively well at 4-2-2 to start the season, and there haven't been any injuries during the first three weeks of the season.
But that didn't stop the team from recalling defenseman Vojtech Mozik from Albany (AHL) prior to the team's three-game road trip this week.
And while it made sense for the Devils to add a seventh defenseman in case there is an injury, coach John Hynes made it sound like Mozik won't just be sitting and watching.
The Devils are 4-2-2 through their first eight games.
