BOSTON — If the Devils somehow earn a playoff spot and face the Boston Bruins at some point in the postseason, it could be nasty.
That's because the Devils felt the Bruins, in particular Max Talbot and Landon Ferraro, took some liberties while delivering dirty hits in the chippy match Sunday at TD Garden.
Jiri Tlusty suffered what the Devils hope is not a concussion from a blind side hit from Talbot with 5:23 left in the second period of the Bruins' 2-1 shootout win.
"Right in my head," said Tlusty, who stayed down on the ice for some time but was able to finish the game.
