NEWARK -- Jesper Bratt scored the game-winning in a shootout before Keith Kinkaid made a clinching glove save to give the Devils a 5-4 win over the Ottawa Senators on Friday at the Prudential Center.
Taylor Hall's shot was stopped to open the shootout before Christopher DiDomenico missed his attempt for the Senators. Nico Hischier missed on a backhanded shot on the Devils' second attempt before Tom Pyatt scored. Drew Stafford scored to keep the Devils alive before Erik Karlsson missed a potential winner.
Bratt scored to open the fourth round before Kinkaid gloved the final shot from Mike Hoffman.
