Newark, NJ – The New Jersey Devils today acquired forward Beau Bennett in exchange for a third-round pick (#77 overall, used to select Connor Hall) in this year’s draft. The announcement was made by Devils’ Executive Vice President/General Manager Ray Shero.
This past season, Bennett scored six goals and six assists for 12 points and 10 penalty minutes in 33 games. He also appeared in one Stanley Cup Playoff contest. He had split the previous three seasons with Pittsburgh and Wilkes-Barre (AHL). In 129 career NHL games, he has 16 goals and 29 assists for 45 points while accumulating 32 penalty minutes.
