Bridgeport starter Christopher Gibson stopped 19 shots on his way to his second shutout of the season in a 5-0 romp over the visiting Binghamton Devils at Webster Bank Arena on Saturday. Devils netminder Ken Appleby took the loss with little help from the defense for the team’s seventh loss in their last nine games.
The Tigers struck for three goals in the second period on 18 shots for their third straight win as Josh Ho-Sang (4th) scored 34 seconds in followed by Kyle Schempp (1st) and Ryan Bourque (4th) with 13.
