The New Jersey Devils are going to be one of the busiest teams in the NHL this off-season. They have numerous free agents, need to add scoring and have high draft picks. One of the numerous questions that remains to be answered involves the captaincy of the Devils. With Devils Captain and defenseman Bryce Salvador likely on his way out, the team will need a new captain. One player I’d heavily consider is defenseman Andy Greene.
Andy Greene has spent his entire 9-year NHL career as a New Jersey Devil after being signed as an undrafted free agent in 2006.
