Binghamton Devils played well enough of a road game to give them a chance for a win up 2-0 early in the opening twenty minutes. However, the itinerary fell through as Syracuse took over the next 40 minutes of action having scored five unanswered goals on their way to a 5-2 victory at Onondaga County War Memorial Arena on Wednesday.
The loss ended a modest two game win streak for Binghamton (7-7-2-0) and extended divisional rival Syracuse (6-5-1-0) to four wins in their last five outings. Syracuse goaltender Eddie Pasquale was solid for the Crunch in making 24 saves.
