NEWARK -- Michael McLeod doesn't have to do it all.
The Devils first-round pick in the 2016 NHL Draft is trying to crack the NHL roster during his second training camp with the team, which means making the big adjustment from junior hockey to the highest level of the game.
There's no denying McLeod's speed and skill on the ice. The challenge for him and the Devils is channeling that energy.
"He's very skilled, tenacious and competes, and a lot of times those kids, the adjustment for guys like Michael, in junior, he can do a lot of things by himself, just on raw talent," Devils coach John Hynes said.
