SAN ANTONIO -- Call it a week of milestones for San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wembanyama, who followed up his first 30-point game of the season Monday by scoring a career-high 50 points Wednesday night in a 139-130 win over the Washington Wizards.
Prior to Wednesday, the last three 50-point games produced by Spurs came in overtime games. David Robinson in 1994 logged the franchise's last 50-point outing in regulation.
At 20 years and 314 days old, Wembanyama is the fourth-youngest player in NBA history to record a 50-point game.
