Revs fans rejoiced Saturday morning as midfielder Tajon Buchanan was named to the Canadian National Team as Team Canada prepares for the upcoming FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.
Buchanan will be looking to earn his first cap with the Canadian National Team after a string of successful appearances for the U-23 team during CONCACAF Olympic Qualifiers in March. Buchanan would start in all four matches where he amounted two goals over 353 minutes.
The 2020 Canadian Youth International Player of the Year also spent some time with the first team during January camps.
