Matt Turner and Tajon Buchanan are neighbors in the New England Revolution locker room which leads to plenty of conversations. The two got a new topic to discuss after making the Gold Cup rosters for their respective national teams.
Turner’s first and only appearance for the United States was on Jan. 31 when he helped secure a 7-0 win over Trinidad and Tobago. Turner is slated by some pundits to be a starter during the Gold Cup.
Buchanan made three consecutive appearances as a substitute for the Canadian National Team after playing a prominent role in all four of the U-23 side’s Olympic qualifying matches.
