Diego Fagundez is drawing interest from multiple suitors, according to a close source.
Fagundez, 25, signed a Homegrown deal with the New England Revolution on Nov. 15, 2010. He has since played 261 regular season games, amassing 53 goals and 45 assists. Fagundez is one game away from surpassing Shalrie Joseph to become the player with the most regular season appearances in Revs history.
The Bent Musket has learned that Fagundez is out of contract on Dec. 31. He received a contract extension offer from his hometown club. He’s also drawn interest from other MLS clubs, as well as clubs in Liga MX and La Liga.
