Rowe, Agudelo join USMNT ahead of Portugal friendly

Despite missing two months of action with a knee sprain, Kelyn Rowe never fell off the U.S. Soccer radar.

On Tuesday, the Revolution midfielder earned his second-ever call-up to the U.S. Men’s National Team ahead of a November 14 friendly against Portugal. Forward Juan Agudelo also made the roster.

This summer, the pair helped the U.S. to the Gold Cup crown. Rowe shined during the group stage, scoring his first international goal and collecting first international assist in a one-week span. Agudelo made three appearances in the tournament; the Colombian-born forward has now earned four call-ups in 2017 and appears locked into the National Team picture moving forward.
