The New England Revolution returned to preseason action for the first time since February 6th when they faced Louisville City FC on Thursday in Bradenton, Florida. Louisville had the Revs’ number in this contest. as they USL side ultimately gained a 3-1 victory.
Things started badly for the Revs, who conceded in 3rd minute. Louisville midfielder Devon “Speedy” Williams was able to score with fellow midfielder Brian Ownby collecting the assist.
It would only become tougher for the Revolution as Louisville City took a 2-0 lead in the 29th minute after midfielder Niall McCabe scored off of a pass from Williams.
