Six months ago the New England Revolution added Carlos Llamosa to its coaching staff to provide scouting assistance. The move has paid dividends, according to club president Brian Bilelllo, as the coaches now have more flexibility to travel outside of New England.
“I don’t look at Carlos as a dedicated, 100% scout but [he] allows us the ability to send a coach when we need to,” Bilello explained during an interview with “Six States, One Podcast.”
Depending on the situation, the Revs can send Jay Heaps, Tommy Soehn, Remi Roy, or Llamosa to scout while still having sufficient personnel to run practice.
