New England Revolution Academy defender Tyler Freitas has been named the club’s 2019 Academy Player of the Year following the 2018-19 season. Freitas becomes the fifth recipient of the prestigious honor, joining Revolution Academy alumni Zachary Herivaux (2014), Justin Rennicks (2015, 2016), Joe Brito (2017), and Kevin Vang (2018).
