The New England Revolution have signed midfielder Michael Gamble, according to his former teammate Jack Harrison. The team has not yet confirmed the signing or issued a press release.
Gamble was drafted 30th overall in the 2016 SuperDraft after four successful years at Wake Forest. While in college, he amassed 24 goals and 20 assists in 60 appearances. His talents earned him NSCAA Second Team All-South Region honors in 2014 and 2015.
Originally a forward, Gamble has played primarily as a winger with the Revolution. The 22-year-old shined during the Desert Diamond Cup, scoring against Real Salt Lake in the tournament opener and collecting a secondary assist against the Houston Dynamo.
