FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Revolution have signed midfielder Scott Caldwell to a new contract. He is currently in his fourth year with the Revs after being made the club’s second-ever Homegrown Player in 2012.
“Scott has been an important part of this club, both on and off the field, and he’s an example of the type of player we look for here in New England,” Revolution general manager Michael Burns said. “We have had the opportunity to watch Scott grow from being a homegrown player to being named MVP of the club by both his teammates and fans.
