The New England Revolution have signed midfielder Isaac Angking to a Homegrown deal, per a team press release. Angking is the fourth Homegrown Player in club history, behind Diego Fagundez (Leominster, MA), Scott Caldwell (Braintree, MA), and Zachary Herivaux (Brookline, MA).
Angking, 17, joined the Revolution Academy before the 2013-14 season. He made 81 appearances while with the program, amassing 28 goals and 18 assists. During the 2017-18 season he had 12 goals in 11 games while playing for the U-19s.
“We’ve closely monitored Isaac’s development during his four seasons in our Academy and look forward to seeing him continue to grow in the Revolution system,” Revolution General Manager Michael Burns said in the press release.
