FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Revolution have signed defender Michael Mancienne to a new contract. Mancienne is set to return on a renegotiated deal for his third MLS season with the Revolution after joining the club in the summer of 2018.
Mancienne, 31, has registered 26 appearances, 23 starts, and one goal since signing with the Revolution from Nottingham Forest on Aug. 3, 2018. In 2019, the English center back made 16 appearances, including 13 starts, across 1,189 minutes played despite missing significant time with a foot injury. He scored the first goal of his professional career in the Revolution's 3-3 draw at Seattle Sounders FC on Aug.
