FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Revolution have acquired midfielder Arnór Ingvi Traustason from Swedish Allsvenskan side Malmö FF for an undisclosed fee and signed him to a two-year contract with an additional one-year team option. A 27-year-old Icelandic international, Traustason joins the Revolution following 11 professional seasons in the top flights of Sweden, Greece, Austria, Norway, and Iceland. He will occupy an international roster slot and will be added to the roster upon receipt of his P-1 Visa and International Transfer Certificate (ITC).
