Revolution reportedly talk with UMass about building a stadium

The New England Revolution could build a soccer stadium in Dorchester, MA, according to the Boston Globe.

The Globe claims that the Kraft family has spoken to University of Massachusetts officials about building a stadium on the waterfront property at the old Bayside Expo Center. The land was purchased by UMass in 2010.

In a statement given to the Globe, UMass spokesman Robert Connolly said, "We’ve worked closely with the Kraft family in the past and have a shared desire to create new opportunities for our students and for the Commonwealth."

The Revolution currently play at Gillette Stadium, which also houses the New England Patriots.
