Bye, 23, just competed his second season with the Revs after being drafted eighth-overall in the 2018 MLS SuperDraft. A midfielder while playing at Western Michigan University, Bye has spent most of his professional career as a defender. This season he was the first-choice right back.
In two seasons, Bye has collected 54 regular-season appearances, which includes 46 starts. He has tallied three goals and four assists during his 4,127 minutes.
Bye’s signing comes days after fellow defender DeJuan Jones re-upped with the Revolution. Both players were previously on the Reserve Roster but will now occupy spots on the Senior Roster.
