FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – New England Revolution midfielder Luis Caicedo underwent successful surgery to repair the meniscus in his right knee on Wednesday, March 11. Caicedo has been placed on the season-ending injury list, and is expected to miss the remainder of the 2020 MLS season with an anticipated nine-month recovery period.
The surgery was performed by Dr. Scott Martin at Brigham and Women’s/Mass General Health Care Center in Foxborough, Mass.
Since joining the Revolution ahead of the 2018 MLS season, Caicedo, 24, has appeared in 61 matches – including 56 starts – and has totaled one goal and four assists in regular season play.
