The New England Revolution will face either the Charlotte Independence (USL) or Carolina Railhawks (NASL) in the fourth round of the US Open Cup, according to a draw done on Thursday. Regardless of their opponent, the Revs will be on the road.
The Independence-Railhawks game is scheduled to take place on June 1 in Cary, North Carolina. This will be the second consecutive year that these two teams meet in the third round of the US Open Cup. In 2015, the Independence defeated the Railhawks 1-0.
The winner of this year's game will host the Revolution on June 15.
