FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – New England Revolution II defender Colby Quiñones has been called up to the Puerto Rico National Team ahead of its January training camp. A Revolution Academy product from Bedford, N.H., Quiñones will represent Puerto Rico for the first time, with friendlies scheduled against the Dominican Republic and Guatemala ahead of upcoming Concacaf World Cup Qualifying action in March.
Quiñones, 17, signed his first professional contract with Revolution II on November 30 after seeing extensive action during the team’s inaugural USL League One season in 2020. In August, he became the first active Revolution Academy player to feature in a professional match, appearing in 14 games with 13 starts.
