FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Revolution helped Boston Scores raise more than $380,000 for under-resourced youth in Boston Public Schools through the 15th annual Scores Cup hosted at Gillette Stadium on Saturday, Aug. 10. Held by Boston Scores in partnership with the Revolution, the seven-v-seven, co-ed tournament has grown to become the largest corporate charity soccer tournament in the United States.
At the 2019 Scores Cup Boston, more than 600 players representing 40 of the Boston area’s business leaders joined together at Gillette Stadium for the soccer tournament. The event is the largest single source of support for Boston Scores’ out-of-school program, as all proceeds benefit under-resourced youth in the greater Boston area through the organization’s innovative after-school programming that blends soccer, poetry, and social entrepreneurship programs.
