On July 25, 2020, following the New England Revolution’s match against the Philadelphia Union in the MLS is Back Tournament, New England Revolution Head Coach Bruce Arena was issued a red card for confrontational conduct and unacceptable and offensive language directed towards match officials.
MLS today announced that MLS Commissioner Don Garber has suspended Arena for an additional two games, three games total, and issued a $15,000 fine for his unacceptable conduct and use of inappropriate language.
Arena served the first game of his suspension, for the red card, on August 20, during New England’s match against Philadelphia Union.
