It didn’t take long for Gullermo Hauche to earn his first minutes with the New England Revolution.
Signed Sept. 13, Hauche played 45 minutes against the Chicago Fire on Sept. 22, just days after he received his paperwork. Hauche replaced Diego Fagundez at halftime, with the hope that the Argentine would offer some new energy.
While he didn’t record an assist or goal in the night’s 2-2 tie, head coach Brad Friedel was happy with what he saw.
“I think in the first 10-15 minutes, he had more touches in the team’s attacking third than we had in the first half,” Friedel noted.
