The New England Revolution closed the Florida leg of preseason on Tuesday with a 1-1 draw against FC Cincinnati. The Revs are now 1-1-1 as they prepare to enter the Mobile Mini Sun Cup in Tucson, AZ.
Preseason started with a bang as the Revs defeated the New York Red Bulls 4-3 on Wednesday, Jan. 31. Brian Wright, Cristian Penilla, Kelyn Rowe, and Femi Hollinger-Janzen got on the score sheet to give Brad Friedel his first win as a club coach.
Friedel’s first loss would come three days later when the Revs dropped a 1-0 result to Malmo FF of Sweden.
