FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Revolution fell to the New York Red Bulls, 1-0, at Red Bull Arena on Sunday afternoon. Following a scoreless first half, New York tallied the lone goal with Bradley Wright-Phillips finishing his own rebound in the 55th minute.
Despite registering 13 shots, eight of which were recorded in the second half, the Revs couldn’t find the back of the net. On the other end of the field, Revolution goalkeeper Brad Knighton made three saves in his third consecutive League start. Revolution midfielder Kelyn Rowe led the team with three chances created, while a trio of players, Rowe, Kei Kamara, and Juan Agudelo, paced the Revs in shots with three.
