Revolution Fall to Chicago Fire, 2-1

FOXBOROUGH, MASS. – The New England Revolution (5-5-6; 20 pts.) fell to the Chicago Fire (9-3-4; 31 pts.), 2-1, before a crowd of 21,548 fans at Gillette Stadium on Saturday evening.

Chicago forwards Nemanja Nikolic and Luis Solignac scored in the 18th and 61st minutes, respectively, and although Antonio Delamea pulled one back for New England in the 70th minute, the Revolution couldn't find an equalizer despite a flurry of late chances and 18 second-half shots – the most by an MLS team in a single half this season.

New England's home unbeaten streak is snapped at 11 games with the loss, marking the third-best run in club history.
