Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Abbey looked destined to land with Minnesota United this offseason. In early November, reports mentioned that Adrian Heath’s side had all but signed the 24-year-old playmaker.
But conflicting stories surfaced shortly thereafter, and the Loons never finalized the deal. Now, the Revolution have stepped in as a potential suitor for Abbey, according to Jeff Rueter.
