The New England Revolution selected forward Tajon Buchanan with the 9th overall pick in the 2019 MLS SuperDraft.
Buchanan, 19, played two years at Syracuse University before signing a Generation Adidas contract. As a Freshman, he collected four goals and two assists to be named to the All-ACC Third Team. One year later he had eight goals and four assists, which earned him an appearance on the All-ACC First Team.
Standing at 6’0 tall, Buchanan is known for his athleticism and grit. He’s a dynamic attacker that could play any of the Revolution’s front three spots.
